Year of the Tiger
Happy Lunar New Year from Blendily! The Lunar New Year is a celebration that commences on the first new moon and culminates on the first full moon of the year. 2022 is the Year of the Tiger.
In the legend of the Chinese Zodiac, 12 animals compete in a race to determine their order. Animals large and small had to cross a rapid river to reach the finish line on the shore. Rat and Ox led the group, followed closely by Tiger and Rabbit. Both were fast and competitive, but Tiger raced just a little faster and finished in third place.
Tigers are considered the king of all animals. They symbolize power, courage, confidence, leadership, and strength. They also expel evil. For the first time in 60 years, Tiger’s element sign is Water. The Water Tiger is said to have great interpersonal relationships, determination, and the drive to go after what they want.
Due to the Tiger’s determination, 2022 will usher in a confident and authoritative energy. This is the year to take charge of your life. Expect significant changes, like gaining success and overcoming fears.
Those born during a Tiger year will have good luck in wealth, love, and careers. A long-term project may be successful. Now is also the time to spread the love by nurturing relationships. However, be careful in your undertakings. This year, choose positive energies, like a wedding or buying a house.
Regardless of one's personal zodiac sign, it is a time to gather with family and friends and extend wishes to all personal and professional relations for health, prosperity, and good fortune.
Wishing everyone health and prosperity from the Blendily Team!
